Tissue Culture & Clean Genetics

Why Tissue Culture
Our nursery is built around a tissue culture propagation system designed to maintain clean, stable genetics.

By maintaining cultivars in sterile laboratory conditions, we reduce the risk of pathogen transmission, protect against genetic drift, and preserve valuable cultivars for long-term production.

All production mothers originate from tissue culture and are periodically regenerated to maintain plant health and genetic consistency.
HLVd Testing & Clean Plant Protocol
Hop Latent Viroid remains one of the most significant threats to cannabis production. Our tissue culture workflow includes routine screening to verify that plant material entering the nursery is free from viroid infection.

Only verified clean material is transitioned from tissue culture into production mothers, ensuring a clean starting point for every clone we propagate.
Regenerating Mother Plants
Over time, traditional mother plants can accumulate stress, pathogens, and genetic variation. Regenerating mothers from tissue culture allows us to reset cultivars back to clean, vigorous plant material.

This process protects long-term genetic integrity while maintaining consistent performance across production cycles.
Preserving Valuable Cultivars
Tissue culture allows us to maintain a secure genetic library of cultivars without the risks associated with traditional mother plant rooms.

Cultivars can be stored, regenerated, and reintroduced into production when needed, helping ensure important genetics remain available and stable over time.
